Website Redesign Project
This new site for Lake Oil Company highlights a fresh design and website layout. This new design uses light animations for an engaging and colorful presentation of their services. A new logo was also created as part of the overall client redesign. The site uses clean and bold imagery to help supplement the informational pieces of the client's personalized and prompt deliveries and products.
For Search Engine Optimization, keyword-rich SEO titles and descriptions were added to all of their pages and posts. 301 redirects were also added for any pages that were removed or prevented from transferring to this new site.
An SSL certificate was added to allow the website to add security via an HTTPS, which is a ranking signal for Google. In addition, the website's sitemaps were submitted to the Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools for page indexing, search statistics, and for logging off any reported errors and issues.
Austin Web & Design also added the website's sitemaps to Google Search Console for page indexing, search statistics, and for any reported errors.
As with ALL Austin Web & Design websites, this website includes premium plugins for a society event calendar, form creation, website security, speed and caching, and for creating website backups that are scheduled to run on a daily, weekly, and on a monthly basis. A custom 404 page was also included to pair with the overall site design, and redirect into the proper website. Uptime monitoring is included on every website we build.
