Project Overview: Musical Instrument Maker Website Redesign, Custom Templates & Content Management

Austin Web & Design redesigned the website for Bresnan Guitars with flexible page layouts and tools for ongoing content management. The project focused on giving the client multiple ways to present information while making website updates easier to manage.

Custom templates and fields provide a consistent structure for existing pages and new content. Responsive layouts carry that presentation across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

The redesign includes custom templates that support multiple page layouts. These templates give the client options for presenting content while maintaining a consistent design throughout the website.

Responsive Design Across Devices

The website’s responsive layouts adapt to different screen sizes, allowing visitors to explore Bresnan Guitars from a desktop computer, tablet, or phone. Mobile-friendly presentation was part of the redesign, including support for iOS and other mobile devices.

Content Management for Ongoing Updates

Custom fields give the client defined places to enter content, while the templates control how that information appears on the page. This approach supports routine edits and new page creation without requiring the client to rebuild each layout.

Search Setup & Visitor Navigation

The project included SEO titles and meta descriptions for the website’s pages. Sitemaps were submitted to Google Search Console to support page discovery and provide access to search performance data and reported indexing issues.

A custom 404 page provides internal links to the website’s sitemap and contact information, helping visitors find a useful next step when a requested page is unavailable.

Website Support & Monitoring

The website setup included plugins for forms, security, caching, and scheduled backups. Uptime monitoring was also included to help identify website availability issues.
